The Sardinera House \u2013designed by Ram\u00f3n Esteve- has been awarded the \"Best Residential Architecture Design\" of the Idea-Tops Awards. This award is promoted by prominent institutions of the Asian design industry and conceived as a platform to foster the relationship between China and the Western countries.<\/p>\n

The recognition consolidates the status of this Valencian architect and designer in the international scene and specially appreciates his \"endless wisdom and forward-looking innovation, as well as the high-quality design\".<\/p>\n

Casa Sardinera est\u00e1 ubicada en un enclave de gran belleza y valor paisaj\u00edstico, en la cima de una ladera frente al mar Mediterr\u00e1neo. A lo largo de toda la casa se generan m\u00faltiples espacios desde donde contemplarlo, tanto desde sus estancias interiores como desde los espacios exteriores.<\/p>\n

El interiorismo de la vivienda ha sido realizado en su totalidad por Ram\u00f3n Esteve. El pavimento es de microcemento, en un tono blanco roto, continuo tanto en el interior como en el exterior. Toda la madera empleada es de accoya blanqueada y las grandes bancadas suspendidas de los ba\u00f1os son de piedra natural. La escalera se trata como un elemento escultural, enmarcando el mar a trav\u00e9s de sus pelda\u00f1os de vidrio trasl\u00facido.<\/p>\n

The Sardinera House is located in a setting of great beauty and valuable landscape, on the top of a hillside in front of the Mediterranean Sea. The sights can be seen from several spaces generated along the house, both from the inner rooms and the exterior spaces.<\/p>\n

The interior of the dwelling has been also completely designed by Ram\u00f3n Esteve. The floor is a continuous layer of off-white micro-cement both inside and outside the house. All the timber used is whitewashed Accoya<\/em> wood and the huge overhanging worktops of the bathrooms are made of natural stone. The staircase is a sculptural piece, framing the sea through its translucent steps.<\/p>\n
