Traza Bathtub Longlisted for the 2026 Archiproducts Design Awards

Traza bathtub, designed by Ramón Esteve for PIMAR Italian Limestone, has been longlisted for the 2026 Archiproducts Design Awards in the Bathroom category.

Now in their eleventh edition, these international awards annually recognise creativity, innovation and research in product design. Traza continues the studio’s presence at the awards, following the recognition of the Arpa sofa, designed for MDF Italia, in 2021, and the Jumbo sofa, developed for Lebom, in 2022.

Traza, The Imprint of Matter

Traza is a bathroom collection that explores the expressive potential of limestone through geometric forms and natural textures. Inspired by the imagery of quarries, it combines smooth, refined surfaces with irregular finishes that preserve the appearance of stone in its original state.

The bathtub, selected for the awards, is conceived as a monolithic volume defined by precise lines and a hammered base that evokes freshly quarried stone.

The collection also includes single and double wall-mounted washbasins, a monolithic washbasin, a console, a stool and two lighting fixtures: a pendant light and a wall light. All the pieces share a coherent formal language, where the contrast between refined surfaces and natural textures reinforces the collection’s sculptural identity throughout the bathroom space.
