Ramón Esteve travels to Mexico to share his architectural vision at Obra Blanca Expo

The latest edition of Obra Blanca Expo, held in Mexico City, featured the participation of Ramón Esteve as a guest speaker at a gathering that brought together leading figures from the international architecture and design sectors. Ramón Esteve’s presence at this landmark event was made possible thanks to the invitation extended by Glocal Design Magazine, a media outlet specialising in trends and architecture that acknowledges the studio’s contribution to the contemporary landscape.

At this conference, attendees had the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the studio’s working philosophy and its approach to the relationship between architecture and design as inseparable disciplines. During his talk, the architect presented some of the most iconic projects developed by his studio, ranging from residential developments to public spaces, highlighting the ongoing pursuit of essentiality and the balance between function, emotion and context.

Obra Blanca Expo, held at the Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City, brought together national and international professionals to discuss new trends in materials, finishes and construction solutions. Within this framework, Ramón Esteve’s presentation provided an in-depth exploration of the creative process and the core values underpinning his work, characterised by constructive rigour and integration with the environment. The architect detailed his cross-disciplinary approach, in which each project is conceived as a coherent whole where architecture, product design and interior design converge to create comprehensive spatial experiences.

During the conference, Ramón Esteve addressed issues such as the importance of natural light, the conscious use of materials and the timeless nature of his proposals — factors that define the studio’s identity and its ability to generate warm, liveable atmospheres. The audience was able to discover the complexity underlying the apparent simplicity of his works, as well as the ongoing dialogue they maintain with the landscape and the memory of the place.
