Once again, Cottage in the Vineyard opens its doors for Open House Valencia 2026 as a premium visit, offering a day dedicated to discovering the relationship between architecture, landscape and territory through the direct experience of space.
Set among vineyards and pine trees, the house offers a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional rural architecture. Its gabled roof recalls the domestic typology of the surrounding context, while its single-storey layout, material palette and chromatic integration with the landscape reinforce its desire to belong to the place. The project seeks a contained presence, almost dissolved into the vegetation, establishing a natural continuity between the house, the estate and the agricultural horizon.

A Visit Guided by Ramón Esteve
The visit will be guided by Ramón Esteve himself, offering attendees a direct reading of the project, from its conceptual origins to its material experience. Throughout the tour, the spatial qualities of the house will be explored: its relationship with the landscape, its domestic scale, its interior atmosphere, the role of natural light, and the way in which architecture transforms a recognisable typology into a contemporary refuge.
Architecture, Landscape and Wine Culture
The day offers an opportunity to approach Cottage in the Vineyard not only as an architectural work, but also as part of a productive and cultural landscape. The experience connects the visit to the house with its winegrowing context, strengthening the link between architecture, territory and ways of living associated with the place.
In this context, the house is understood as an exercise in synthesis: a serene, precise architecture, attentive to the scale of the landscape, where matter, geometry and light work together to create an atmosphere of refuge. The project does not seek to impose itself on its surroundings, but rather to establish a silent relationship with them through visual continuity, landscape integration and the reinterpretation of rural memory.
