Vondom at Ramón Esteve Estudio: a journey through its values and history

Last Friday, we welcomed Álex Diz, Director of the Projects Department at Vondom, to our studio as part of the Academy-Breakfast meeting series. These sessions, conceived as a space for the exchange of ideas, allow us to engage with leading companies and professionals in the design and architecture sector. On this occasion, Álex presented Vondom’s philosophy and trajectory, as well as the latest developments in collections, finishes, qualities, and textures that define the brand’s character.

The presentation focused on illustrating how Vondom has developed a catalogue that combines innovation and versatility, always through a contemporary lens. Its collections range from outdoor furniture to iconic pieces designed by both national and international authors, consolidating the brand as a benchmark in furniture design. Particular emphasis was placed during the session on the development of the collections and the brand, as well as on the production processes, in which technology and research into new materials play a fundamental role.

As part of this tour, we also had the opportunity to revisit some of the most iconic pieces designed by Ramón Esteve for Vondom, the result of a long-standing collaboration. Among them are collections such as Vela, Faz and Ulm, which have become internationally recognised icons for their ability to transform outdoor spaces into sophisticated and timeless environments. Joining these series is the latest creation, the Luna Collection, recently unveiled, which combines geometry and sensuality in a design conceived to enhance outdoor living with an enveloping and elegant character.

Beyond the product itself, Vondom is distinguished by very clear values: a commitment to sustainability, a passion for timeless design, and the ability to generate experiences through spaces. The company is committed to recycled materials and responsible processes, aiming to reduce its environmental impact without compromising on quality or aesthetics. Álex’s visit allowed us not only to gain first-hand insight into the brand’s latest developments, but also to reflect on the importance of collaborating with companies that share a common vision of design: innovative, responsible, and deeply connected to the creation of inspiring spaces.
