Next Wednesday, 19 November at 4 p.m., Anna Boscà, Head of the Cultural and Healthcare Architecture Department, will deliver a seminar at Architect@Work in Feria Valencia entitled "Liveable cities: sustainability and heritage as drivers of transformation".
During the session, Anna will explore how revitalising buildings with heritage value can strengthen urban identity and support cities in preserving their architectural memory. She will also examine how sustainability criteria, particularly VERDE certification, can guide more responsible and efficient design interventions. Her analysis will include projects such as the Industrial Complex Las Cigarreras, the Universidad Europea Turia Campus, and the Campus Biosanitario of Ciudad Real.
In the professional context offered by Architect@Work, an event focused on innovation and the materials that are influencing contemporary architecture, the talk offers a current perspective on the convergence between legacy, sustainability and liveability in urban environments.
